My love for photography started young, and I developed a documentary approach early. I would wander Downtown Pittsburgh with an old Canon FTB, photographing people and the way light fell in ordinary, interesting ways. Since those early years, I’ve photographed just about everything from large corporate projects to intimate love stories. My decade + of experience in Pittsburgh and beyond has shown me that learning your story and documenting it in a real way is where my heart is.
I’m a Pittsburgh-based wedding photographer working with both film and digital, and I’m drawn to honest, unposed storytelling. I’m not here to manufacture moments or over-direct your day. I’m here to notice what is already happening and make sure it is remembered in a way that feels true. I'll capture everything you didn’t realize you’d want to remember later.
Whether I’m photographing your wedding, brand, or family, I want you to feel completely at ease through the entire process.
So if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by your timeline, don’t be because I’ve got that handled. Not sure what to wear? I’ve got suggestions to make choosing clothing easy. Worried about your wildly fun bridal party? I know how to step in and keep things moving when needed. Know that your story matters to me, and I’ve got you covered.
My family is at the center of everything for me. I’m usually spending time with them outdoors, on evening walks around the neighborhood, biking or hiking.
I love nature, art, and slow Sundays making a big meal. The simple things feel grounding. Adventuring fills me up, especially anything that gets me outside and away from routine for a bit. Connection is a big part of who I am, both in my personal life and in the work I create.
When I’m not photographing, I’m hanging out with my family, gardening or hunting down a flea market.
