A blush and white dream! Samantha & Jimmy had a romantic July wedding at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Complete with a meadow stroll at golden hour.
Truthfully, everything about this day was a dream. Sam and Jimmy got ready at the Pittsburgh Marriott in Cranberry in two roomy, light-filled suites. Rooms large enough to be surrounded by their 7 favorite family and friends (plus their photo and video pals!). The afternoon brought lots of laughs and was relaxed. Still, we had plenty of time before the ceremony for bridesmaid and groomsmen photos at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. If timelines allow for it and couples aren’t doing a first look, I highly recommend wedding party photos prior to the ceremony!
It was a hot July day and when we got to Pittsburgh Botanic Garden I sought out some shade for my gorgeous wedding party people. To the right of the barn is a big tree that perfectly accommodates 6 people underneath.
Sam and Jimmy’s ceremony was on-site at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. This is where they got their first glimpses of each other, and fought back happy tears during their personal vows to one another. Dancing down the aisle after their I-dos was the perfect start to being newlyweds!
During portraits, we hit all of my favorites locations at Pittsburgh Botanic. The Lotus Pond, the tree lined paths and the Meadow. But, capturing S+J anywhere is effortless. These high school sweethearts are so in love, and they share a level of comfort that is honest.
Finally, the party! Sam’s sister and Jimmy’s brothers all had toasts that left them laughing and wiping happy tears. S+J’s choreographed first dance had the whole wedding on their feet (the dip at the end, wow!).
I loved celebrating with these two beautiful souls, and being a small part of their perfect day. Cheers to forever and ever, S+J!
